Licensed Practical Nurses assist physicians and registered nurses by providing skilled nursing care to the convalescing and chronically ill.  The RRCC Practical Nursing Program is designed to offer theory and clinical experience in nursing skills at Falls Memorial Hospital, Falls Good Samaritan Center, and other clinical settings.  Licensed practical nurses are employed in a Nursing Assistant variety of settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, doctors’ offices, industry, public health agencies, the military, and Federal and State Civil Service.  According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, health-related careers are expected to expand with a significant demand for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) throughout the state and nation.

Upon completion of our program, you are eligible to take the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Licensing Examination and, upon successful completion, become a Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).
