POST SECONDARY ENROLLMENT OPTIONS (PSEO) ADMISSION


To APPLY FOR PSEO ADMISSION
COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING STEPS:


* Meet with your high school guidance counselor to determine eligibility:
  • for juniors, your class rank must be in the upper one-third of your class or your score must be at or above the 70th percentile on a nationally standardized, norm-referenced test such as the ACT or SAT
  • for seniors, your class rank must be in the upper one-half of your class or your score must be at or above the 50th percentile on a nationally standardized, norm-referenced test such as the ACT or SAT
  • you may also provide other documentation of readiness to perform college-level work for review and approval by the College

* Complete the Postsecondary Enrollment Options Program, Notice of Student 
   Registration, Part 1 and 2
with your high school guidance counselor

* Complete and submit the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities 
   Application for Admission


* Submit official high school transcripts

The Post-Secondary Enrollment Options program, also known as PSEO, was created in 1985 as a means to "promote rigorous educational pursuits and provide a wider variety of options for students.”  Through PSEO, high school students receive both high school and college credit for college courses that are completed.  Additional information is available at www.education.state.mn.us
