After you have applied and been accepted at RRCC, you MUST sign up for Student Testing and Registration-STAR
If you are registering in the Industrial Technology or Green and Sustainable Construction Technology Program, you DO NOT have to take the Accuplacer.

To sign up for a STAR test date:
Email the following: first and last name, your Student ID #(this is on your acceptance letter), THE DATE YOU WANT TO TEST, Phone #, and birth date to STAR@rrcc.mnscu.edu.
Please also include, Type of test:
· Reading and Math(RECOMMENDED) * Reading Only
· Nursing * Math Only
· Retesting Reading and Math * Retesting Reading
· Retesting Math
· Testing for another college(name of college)
Please check in 15 minutes prior to the start of your test session. Sessions begin promptly. Late students will have to reschedule. Please bring a photo ID with you to your test session.
Can't attend STAR?
If you are unable to attend a STAR session at RRCC, you can have the CPT proctored at an approved test center and register for classes on-line or by appointment with an Advisor.
Approved proctors include high school guidance counselors or a testing site at a local college, university, or test center. You will need to contact the site and speak with the test proctor at that site.
